Build your game and confidence by getting on the court with the Home Court Summer League.

The Summer League is for 7th & 8th grade boys who are committed to improving their skills, gain confidence and be the type of player that every coach loves to have on their team. The uniquely designed program uses:

  • Limited Enrollment to Ensure Playing Time
  • Positive Coaching
  • Focus on Off Ball Movement
  • More time on Player Development than Strategy
  • Emphasis on Valuable Teammate Skills
The Home Court Summer League allows players who are busy with other summer activities or also enrolled in a Home Court Skill Development Program (Summer Skills) to get the organized game time they need to continue their basketball development. All sessions take place at the Home Court Facility.

Session Times
Sessions are Wednesdays, 5 to 6:30 p.m.

There are six sessions in the Summer League.

7th & 8th Grade Boys
Wednesday Nights (5 to 6:30 p.m.): 7/10, 7/17, 7/24, 7/31, 8/7 & 8/14

Tuition for the Summer League is $125

Sessions combine practice and games. Teams will be formed to be as competitive as possible with team reformation each week to give players the opportunity to play with and against as many different players as possible. Home Court coaches will create a positive and respectful environment where players are given the opportunity to develop their skills through the season. The structure of the program maximizes the opportunity for development of skills, I.Q. and confidence without running the risk of physical or mental burn out in the offseason.

There are no tryouts for the league but players are organized into teams and individual matchups to ensure everyone is appropriately challenged by the instruction and competition. For those interested in an additional training opportunity, a seven week, afternoon small group training session (3:00 to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday available) can be added for $150.

"I participated in activities at Home Court since I was in the 6th grade. Two weeks ago, I was elected the next President of my school. You might ask yourself how these two events are connected. Let me explain. In my time at Home Court I learned many valuable lessons about leadership, perseverance, and dedication not to mention the great basketball skills. I would never be in the position that I am today if I had not attended Home Court." - Tom C.

"Transitioning from NYBA (rec league) to Home Court to the Select Program has been the perfect stepping stone for learning the game for our 2 kids. Simply put, without the style and depth of coaching that Home Court provides, our kids would not have progressed as quickly to the skill level that they now possess." - Cameron & Shawn D.
