Giving Campaign

For nearly 13 years Home Court has been a place where local youth can gain the skills and confidence necessary to be successful both on and off the court. Since opening our doors in August of 2003, nearly 25,000 kids have attended our programs. They come to achieve success on the basketball court but most soon learn that the gifts of the game extend far beyond because to Home Court, basketball is "More than a Game."

In conjuction with our Coach's Gift Banquet, Home Court's More Than a Game Giving Campaign will raise funds to benefit our Home Court Kids Fund and our Coaching Development Fund. Both of these funds help offset operating costs, making it possible to keep our programs as affordable as possible while still limiting enrollment and providing the coaches necessary to create a personal and productive experience. Funds are also used to provide as many partial scholarships as possible to those families in need of additional financial assistance.

Each player's experience is unique, but some of our favorite stories illustrate the positive impact of Home Court Programs:

Peter Lemke

This summer a truly unique Home Court partnership was formed between an All League basketball player and a young man with autism. Their story not only shows how the game of basketball can bring people together but also a valuable lesson when coaching kids.

Help Create More Stories of Success

A successful More Than a Game Giving Campaign will ensure that even more stories of success like Ryan's and Tony's, Sam's, Saige's and Peter's will be written at Home Court. Every donation has a huge impact. A $1000 donation could provide as many as 15 partial scholarships for a family in need while a $25 donation provides the Home Court Kids Fund subsidy to get one more child the positive and productive experience of a Home Court program. We thank you in advance for your willingness to support Home Court coaches, kids and families. Home Court is a 501(c)3 organization making donations to the "More Than a Game" Giving Campaign tax deductible.
