MID-WINTER BREAK SKILLS CLASSES

Spend some of your Mid-Winter Break on the court having fun, getting better and (most importantly) getting out of the house. Mid-Winter Break Skills Classes provide an opportunity for builiding skills and confidence. While we will have to make some necessary changes to our programs to follow Federal, State and local guidelines, Home Court will continue to provide the positive and productive exprerience our participants have grown accustomed to. Our first priority will be the safety of our coaches, participants and families. You can find more information on our new safety guidelines HERE.

The Mid-Winter Skills Classes will help players improve their skills and confidence through positive coaching, personal attention, specific instruction, drill repetition and most importantly FUN. Our goal will continue to be to make sure our participants leave Home Court will sweaty brows and smiling faces and a desire to come back soon.

Participants register for the specific day and time that they would like to attend. Participants are welcome to register for multiple sessions during the week.

  • Grade specific sessions to ensure players are appropriately challenged by the instruction (players will be grouped by grade, gender and ability as much as possible in each session).

  • Coaches will also demonstrate the importance of focus, hustle and support in achieving success on and off the court.

  • Player to coach ratio of 5 o 1 or less.

  • Limited enrollment to maximize the opportunity for personal attention and drill repetition.

  • Well organized, fast-paced sessions that keep players moving and engaged through a variety of drills, activities and competitions.

  • Emphasis on fundamental skill development (shooting, ball handling, scoring moves, defensive footwork, etc.)

  • Session plans that balance instruction with individual competitions, competitive drills and scrimmages to make sure hard work & fun go hand in hand

In accordance with State and County regulations, participants and coaches will be wearing face coverings at all times while in the gym. State guidelines now allow for scrimmaging and competitive drills.

Classes are offered throughout the days of February 16, 17 & 18. Participants register for a specific day and time (participants can register for multiple sessions if they would like). Tuition is $25.
