Home Court Hoopsters

The Home Court Hoopsters provides an opportunity for young players to continue to develop their basketball fundamentals, their love for the game as well as an appreciation for the benefits of continual development. Unfortunately there were limited opportunities for basketball in the winter, the Hoopsters program will create a positive, productive and safe environment where kids can get some much needed exercise and parents can get some free time.

While we will have to make some necessary changes to our programs to follow Federal, State and local guidelines, Home Court will continue to provide the positive and productive exprerience our participants have grown accustomed to. Our first priority will be the safety of our coaches, participants and families. You can find more information on our new safety guidelines HERE.

The Hoopsters programs program will help players improve their skills and confidence through positive coaching, personal attention, specific instruction, drill repetition and most importantly FUN. The program meets once a week for 5 weeks in sessions that combine fundamental skill-development, basketball I.Q. instruction and competitive drills and scrimmages.

  • Coaches will provide instruction and encouragement that will help players increase their enjoyment of basketball while also improving their basketball skills.

  • Coaches will also demonstrate the importance of focus, hustle and support in achieving success on and off the court.

  • Players will be grouped by grade and ability to ensure everyone is appropriately challenged by the instruction and competition.

  • Limited enrollment to maximize the opportunity for personal attention and drill repetition (a maximum of 6 players per group with no more than 4 groups in the gym).

  • Well organized, fast-paced sessions that keep players moving and engaged through a variety of drills, activities and competitions.

  • Emphasis on fundamental skill development (shooting, ball handling, scoring moves, defensive footwork, etc.)

  • State of Washington COVID Guidelines are strictly enforced ensuring our participants, coaches and families can have a great time while staying as safe and healthy as possible.
